Pilotage and Pilot Launch Service:

a.         Pilotage is at all ports compulsory.

The following revised pilotage is in force effective April 1st, 2005. Applicable on all floating crafts incoming or outgoing between 05.30 + 18.30

Starting with 16000 GRT or 660 feet overall length the pilotage charge increases with ANG. 37,- for each additional 1.000 GRT. 

           Overtime Pilotage:

Incoming or outgoing between 18.30 and 05.30 all days, double the above amounts. The above figures cover only one operation either entering or leaving the port.

c.        Shifting:  (Pilotage)

For shifting in the harbour, from one terminal to another, or from one harbour to another harbour of the same island, the pilotage charge will be 1/2 (one half) of the charge, which would have been due for entering or leaving.

d.        Service and/or penalty charge:

When a pilot is ordered and the vessel is not ready to start manoeuvring (either entering, sailing or shifting) within 30 minutes after the pilot has boarded, a service charge of 20% of the pilot fee is assessed. This charge is assessed also for each additional half hour or fraction the pilot is requested to remain on board.
