The above tariffs apply to tugboats of up to 2000 HP, for tugs of more than 2000 HP the basic rates will be increased with 15% (not applicable for vessels up to 1000 GRT).

In case of shifting from jetty to jetty, from buoy to jetty or vice versa, applicable tariff is increased by 50% for the whole operation.

If more than 2 tugs are required the 3rd and 4th tug will be charged with an increase of 25% and 50% respectively on basic rates.

All charges for tug-hire on time basis shall be from time tug leaves tie-up station until her return to tie-up station with a minimum charge of one hour. Time in excess of one hour will be rounded off upwards to nearest half-hour.

Cancellations (before movement of tug) US$ 250,- per tug.

Night-work from 17.00 - 07.00: 25% increase on basic rates.

Sunday-work (also on holidays officially recognized in the ports of Curacao) from 17.00 preceding day till Sunday/Holiday 24.00: 50% increase on basic rates.

Saturday work from 07.00 - 17.00: 25% increase on basic rates.

Total time covered by the fixed harbour service tariffs under A) and B) is 2 hours and

2 1/2 hours for those under C). Thereafter the hourly tariff is applicable.

For the use of the tug's towing equipment a charge of US$ 80,- per assistance will be made.

All services will be rendered on the "Standard Towage Conditions" deposited by the Kompania di Tou Korsou Exploitatie Mij. N.V. with the Curacao Court.

Pilotage dues for tugs are not included.

All tugs are provided with an extensive firefighting and salvage equipment, and each tug carriers some 25 tons of oil dispersant together with a spray system to be utilized in case of oil spill.

The tugs can be engaged for rendering towage assistance both inside and outside the harbour. As a rule, however, all vessels dock or undock at all wharves and enter or leave the port without tug assistance. In case of abnormal circumstances or in case the harbour-master may require tug assistance.

Tugs can be requested by the master for speeding up docking or undocking the vessels.
