In 2013 Aruba Ports Authority N.V. announced that they were ready to begin Aruba’s US $62 million dollar project to Design, Build, Finance, Maintain, Operate, and Transfer the Multi-Cargo Sea Terminal at Barcadera.


The port of Kralendijk is located in an open bay on the South part of the West coast with the marine terminals being located on this coast.


The centrally located ports, which are outside the major hurricane routes, offer many competitive advantages; modern infrastructure combined with Dutch know-how, guarantees the best possible service for shipping and cargo handling.
